Barbados is worried about Brexit as Brits are ditching the island for cheaper destinations like the Dominican Republic.
The Commonwealth country welcomes more people from Britain than all of its US and European visitors combined. The Barbados currency is pegged to the US Dollar at a rate of 2 to 1. After the pound fell by 12% following the vote to leave the EU, Barbados has become more expensive for Brits to visit.
Cheapflights says that searches for Barbados have decreased 15% year-on-year.
