More flights will operate from the UK to the USA in 2017.
British Airways has launched the first non-stop service from Heathrow to New Orleans. It will run four times a week from 27th March. They’ll also fly from Gatwick to Fort Lauderdale from 6th July, operating four times a week in the summer and three times a week for the rest of the year. BA is also starting a new route to Oakland in the San Francisco Bay area from Gatwick starting in March.
Delta is commencing flights from Heathrow to Portland in Oregon at the end of May. They will operate four times a week. The American carrier is also launching a direct Glasgow to New York JFK flight in May.
Icelandair is launching services from Britain to Philadelphia and Tampa via Reykjavik from 30th May.
If you use Manchester Airport you’ll be able to fly with Thomas Cook to San Francisco from 14th May and Virgin Atlantic will operate non-stop services from Heathrow to Seattle from 26th March.
