Britain has some of the most scenic railway lines in the world. But away from the famous mainlines, there’s a whole world of narrow gauge railways, many saved from destruction by an army of volunteers. Keri Jones from The Great Destinations Radio Show spoke to author Chris Arnot, who has travelled on many of these railways and written about it in his new book, Small Island by Little Train: A Narrow-Gauge Adventure. Chris explains which line is the most impressive.
