Research by Trivago reveals that most Brits leave booking their summer holiday until the last minute. The peak time is the last week of July.
French and Italian holidaymakers are even more relaxed, arranging their trips during the second week of August. Monday evenings at 8pm are the most popular time to book – understandable if you’ve had a miserable day back at work.
